Account Security

Protect your Cafora Host account with 2FA and security best practices.

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

2FA adds an extra layer of security to your account. After enabling 2FA, logging in requires both your password and a time-based code from an authenticator app.

Enabling 2FA

Log into the Cafora Store.
Go to Account Settings > Security.
Select Enable Two-Factor Authentication.
Scan the QR code with your authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, 1Password, etc.).
Enter the verification code from your app to confirm setup.
Save your recovery codes in a secure location.

Recovery Codes

When you enable 2FA, you receive backup recovery codes. These are one-time use codes that allow you to access your account if you lose your 2FA device.

Store recovery codes securely offline. Do not save them on the same device you use for 2FA.

Disabling 2FA

You can disable 2FA from the Security settings page. You will need to verify your identity first.

Additional Security Tips

  • Use a unique password not shared with other services
  • Log out from shared or public computers
  • Monitor your account for unauthorized activity
