Dashboard Overview

A tour of the Pterodactyl Panel and its features for managing your Cafora server.

The Pterodactyl Panel is where you manage every aspect of your Minecraft server. This guide covers the main sections and what they do.

Server List

The home screen shows all your servers with their current status:

  • Online — Server is running
  • Offline — Server is stopped
  • Starting — Server is booting up
  • Installing — Server software is being installed

Server Panel

Clicking on a server opens the server panel with these sections:

Console

View live server output, send commands, and monitor activity in real time. See Console.

File Manager

Browse, upload, edit, and delete server files through a web-based file browser. See File Manager.

Startup

Configure JVM flags, memory allocation, server jar, and environment variables. See Startup Parameters.

Settings

Manage server properties, player slots, game mode, difficulty, and other Minecraft configurations.

Backups

Create manual backups, view automatic backup history, and restore previous states. See Backup.

Players

View connected players, manage permissions, and perform player actions. See Players.

Schedules

Set up automated tasks like restarts, broadcasts, and commands. See Schedules.
