Forge
Install and configure Forge — the traditional modding platform for Minecraft servers.
Minecraft Forge is the longest-standing modding platform for Minecraft. It supports a vast ecosystem of mods and is ideal for traditional modded experiences.
Installing Forge
Open the Pterodactyl Panel and select your server.
Go to Settings → Software.
Choose Forge from the list.
Select your Minecraft version with Forge support.
Click Install.
Upload your mods to the
/mods folder.Start your server.
Forge servers typically use more RAM than Paper or Fabric. Ensure your plan has sufficient memory for your mod loadout.
