Purpur

Install and configure Purpur — an extended Paper fork with additional performance and gameplay options.

Purpur is a fork of Paper that adds even more configuration options and performance improvements. It is ideal for server owners who want maximum control over their server's behavior.

Installing Purpur

Open the Pterodactyl Panel and select your server.
Go to Settings → Software.
Choose Purpur from the list.
Select your Minecraft version.
Click Install.
Start your server.

Migration from Paper

If you are moving from Paper to Purpur:

  1. Create a backup of your server
  2. Install Purpur through the software selector
  3. Purpur will use your existing Paper/Spigot/Bukkit configurations
  4. Start the server to generate purpur.yml
