Spigot
Install and configure Spigot — the classic Bukkit-compatible Minecraft server.
Spigot is one of the most widely used Minecraft server platforms. While Paper is now recommended for most cases, Spigot remains a solid choice for plugin-based servers.
Installing Spigot
Open the Pterodactyl Panel and select your server.
Go to Settings → Software.
Choose Spigot from the list.
Select your Minecraft version.
Click Install.
Start your server.
Spigot vs Paper
Paper includes all Spigot patches plus additional optimizations. Unless you have a specific reason to use Spigot, Paper is recommended.
