The Vanilla server is the official Minecraft server software provided by Mojang. It offers the pure Minecraft experience without any modifications.
When to Use Vanilla
- Testing vanilla Minecraft mechanics
- Playing on the latest snapshot or release before modded servers update
- Minimal resource usage
Installing Vanilla
Open the Pterodactyl Panel and select your server.
Go to Settings → Software.
Choose Vanilla from the list.
Select your Minecraft version.
Click Install.
Start your server.
For better performance and plugin support, consider using Paper instead.
