Downgrade your Cafora hosting plan while keeping your data safe.
Downgrading Your Server
If your server no longer needs its current resource allocation, you can downgrade to a smaller plan.
How to Downgrade
Log into the Cafora Store.
Select your server and go to Billing or Downgrade.
Choose a lower-tier plan.
Review the changes. Downgrades typically take effect at the end of your current billing cycle.
Confirm the downgrade.
Before Downgrading
Downgrading reduces your resource allocation. Ensure your server can operate within the new limits before downgrading.
- Check your current resource usage
- Ensure your RAM usage is well below the new plan limit
- Verify your storage usage fits within the new allocation
- Create a backup before any plan change
- Adjust JVM flags to match the new RAM limit after downgrading
