File Manager
Browse, upload, edit, and manage your Minecraft server files through the Cafora web interface.
The File Manager provides a web-based interface for managing all files on your Minecraft server. For large file transfers or bulk operations, see the SFTP guide.
Accessing the File Manager
- Open the Pterodactyl Panel
- Select your server
- Click the File Manager tab
Key Directories

File Operations
Upload Files
Drag and drop files into the File Manager, or use the Upload button.
Edit Files
Click any text-based file (.yml, .json, .properties, .txt, .cfg) to open the built-in editor.
Create Files and Folders
Use the New File or New Folder buttons in the File Manager toolbar.
Archive and Extract
- Archive — Select files and folders, then click Archive to create a
.zipor.tar.gz - Unarchive — Upload an archive and click Unarchive to extract it in place
Delete and Rename
Right-click any file or folder for additional options.
Be careful when deleting files. Some files are essential for server operation. Consider creating a backup first.
